Hello everyone,
We're back with some updates for you today! 

First off, let's talk dice 🎲

We placed everyone's name on a table and gave the set a good roll.

Congrats to Kyros! Of all the entries they had the benefit of being lucky number 7 on the chart.

More Add Ons


We got a few requests for additional add-ons and so we've added options for just a single issue of our other comics, Incident Report #1 and Mythfall #1. For anyone that wasn't fully ready to commit to the bundle, but wanted to check out these other titles, they're now available in the Add-Ons section.

We are pretty close to unlocking our next stretch goal of $6,000 for the paper upgrade and icon set. 
If there are any friends, forums, online groups, or hashtags who would like this story, it would help us out a lot if you can give us a share. The more we can unlock, the more rewards we can give out with the campaign.

We've been experimenting with reward options we can produce locally and have one (1) laser-etched notebook with the Bound By Words logo to give away to a lucky backer.

Hello everyone!

Thank you all so much for commenting on our last post. We've got a lot of great romance recommendations to explore. Keep them coming!

We extended the deadline to get recommendations to tonight (9/13) at 11:59 since we made a mistake on the original post and we'll announce who won the Water Phoenix Dice set on Monday.

Today's Announcement!  
Today, we want to let you know about the new stretch goals we have planned. The first one is already unlocked!

Stretch Goals Set 1

Desktop/Mobile Wallpaper Set: We hope you're enjoying the vibes of the book. We have some fun desktop and mobile wallpapers made so you can take them on the go. 

Paper Upgrade & Desktop Icons Set: We will upgrade the paper quality of every printed book to 100# paper. This will give the books a higher-quality feel and they'll be much more durable. We didn't want digital backers to feel left out though, so we're going to add a few desktop icons as well. 

Collectable Card Set: To every pledge level we'll add 4 collectable cards: Siora, Madeline, Oscar, and the Prince. Digital backers will get digital versions of the files to print. Each card will include a little background for each character.



Stretch Goal Set 2

Two New Vinyl Stickers: Physical backers will get 2 three-inch vinyl stickers added to their pledge with a new design. We'll release the designs as we get closer to the goal.

Art Team Bonus: It's really important that everyone we work with is getting paid as much as we can. If we fund at this level, we'll increase the page rate for illustrator Deborah Hauber and letterer Hailey Rose-Lyon so they get paid more for their work.   

Oscar Cover: Stacey Lee drafted two amazing covers for Bound by Words, but so far, we've only gotten one completed. At this level, we'll add a new Oscar cover to the mix and offer it up as an add-on after the campaign is cover.

Hello everyone! 
Thank you for making the first 24 hours of the campaign an exciting ride.

Our first poll is now complete!

You voted to add Behind the Scenes digital materials to every pledge. 🎉
We'll let you know once we finalize the bundle, but it will likely include script samples and sketches.

Don't worry if you picked one of the other options.
We're still picking out some stretch goals, and they may make a reappearance!



During our last pin campaign, we asked everyone whether they played Tabletop RPGs. We were delighted to find out that most of you like to roll some dice every now and then.

Sometime in the next few months, probably for Pintopia 2026, we'll be doing a Phoenix Pin and Dice campaign.
We already started research and prep, which means we have some extra samples lying around.
